Overview

Bayyeen is a personal Quran reading companion published by Mohd Asyraf Mohd Nordin. It is designed to keep your reading activity private and on your device.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your selected translation, reading target, font sizes, theme, reminder preferences and times, bookmarks, notes, reading history, and daily progress locally on your device.

Information we collect

Bayyeen does not require an account, does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not transmit your reading history, notes, settings, or identity to a Bayyeen server.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Bayyeen requests notification permission and schedules reminders locally on your device. Reminder data is not sent to a remote server.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you remove it through the app or device controls, clear the app data, or uninstall Bayyeen. There is no remote Bayyeen account or reading database to delete.

External links

Bayyeen may open an external support website. External services operate under their own privacy policies. Voluntary support does not unlock app features.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app's features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest published version.
